20-31 Aug 2001: Exhibition of Paintings for Peace by Sri Chinmoy, were displayed in the UN Secretariat Lobby, held in celebration of the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-violence for the Children of the World, 2001-2010.

At 29 Aug reception, dedicated to a Culture of Peace,  H.E. Ambassador Anwarul Karim Chowdhury, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the UN (left) , who hosted the event and addressed the gathering is show with the artist and meditation leader.
