PEACE CONCERT OFFERED AT HARVARD
Sri Chinmoy gave a Peace Concert Sept. 10 at Harvard University.
After the concert, Professor Diani L. Eck* of the Comparative Religion and Indian Studies Department presented the spiritual leader with a citation on behalf of the interfaith “Pluralism Project” at Harvard University, which has been cataloguing America’s religious diversity in an effort to bring together the different cultures and religions.
“Sri Chinmoy sets for us all a standard of world citizenship,” the citation said, referring to “his many contributions to the bridging of peoples and cultures in the service c peacemaking.”

*Dr. Diana Eck is an authority nor only on interfaith understanding but also on the religion and spirituality of India, she is Professor of Comparative Religion and Indian Studies at Harvard University, and Founder and Director of The Pluralism Project.
The Pluralism Project has recorded the new religious diversity of America and held high the need for us to embrace each other with all our differences.
