1982 – 2008 Declaration of World Thanksgiving shared with Meditation Group and others

Since 1982 the Thanksgiving Foundation and the Founder (Mr. Peter Stewart) of the Center for World Thanksgiving at Thanksgiving Square in Dallas Texas has shared Interfaith Declarations of “World Thanksgiving”

Usually, each year the Declaration were signed by 12 different faith’s communities’ leaders and then widely circulated with the request that it be made available  to as many interested individuals, organizations and communities for further distribution as practical to the general public.

The first Declaration of World Thanksgiving was presented t0 he Secretary General outside the Meditation “Room of Quiet” at the UN. It was also the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the redesign of the Meditation Room at UN Headquarters.
