- The nations represented on ECOSOC for their co-sponsorship of this endeavor, which can influence greater collaboration among the nations of the world; .:.
- The 185 MEMBER NATIONS of the United Nations which, on November 20, 1997, unanimously acclaimed 2 o o o INTERNATIONAL YEAR of THANKSGIVING .:.
- The THANKSGIVING WORLD ADVISORS of the Center for World Thanksgiving at Thanks-Giving Square, who represent Hinduism, Buddhism,Judaism, Christianity and Islam (approximately 2/3s of the world’s population.) In 1995 they conceived of and approached the United Nations with this request.
