Shri C. Subramaniam, President of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, the worldwide Indian cultural association, received the U Thant Peace Award Sept. 12 from Sri Chinmoy.
Dignitaries attending the awards luncheon at Annam Brahma Restaurant included
- S. Ramakrishnan, Executive Secretary of the Bhavan, and
- Nani A. Palkhivala, the noted Indian jurist and author. .
