The song “This is my Year” was composed by Sri Chinmoy and performed at events in various locations around the world before and during the UN proclaimed 1979 International Year of the Child. The song was used as part of events in diverse communities to draw attention to the goals, hopes and work of UN, national and local community organizations support for children.
